Airsoft Strengthens Technical Leadership in Italy Through the Acquisition of Tekno Uno

Airsoft, Axel Johnson International’s platform company within Industrial Automation, has acquired Tekno Uno, a leading Italian technical distributor based in Verona. The acquisition strengthens Airsoft’s position in automation components and technical solutions while expanding Axel Johnson International’s Industrial Automation business group’s footprint in southern Europe.

Tekno Uno brings deep customer application know-how, extensive expertise in automation components and strong engineering capabilities. Founded in 1984 in Verona, the company operates across three divisions: Automation, Engineering, and Training. They offer components, solutions and systems for industrial automation applications with especially strong expertise within system assemblies. With 15 employees and a strong customer base, Tekno Uno serves a wide range of industrial sectors, particularly OEMs in packaging, food and beverage, automotive and related industries.

The current owner, Carmine del Duca, will remain as Managing Director, continuing to lead the family company as an independent part of the Airsoft Group. Tekno Uno will continue to operate under its existing brand, ensuring continuity for customers and suppliers, while gaining access to Airsoft’s broader network, resources, and technical expertise to accelerate its regional growth.

“We’re delighted to welcome Tekno Uno to the Airsoft family,” says Stefano Coledan, Managing Director, Airsoft. “Their customer-focused approach perfectly complements our strategy to build a leading European platform in automation components with the highest level of service. Together, we’ll be even better positioned to support customers with advanced solutions that drive performance and reliability.”

“Tekno Uno’s deep technical know-how and engineering capabilities complement us in a very good way,” says Gianluca Schiavolin, Sales & Technical Director at Airsoft. “Joining forces with Tekno Uno allows us to offer more competence and broader offering, ensuring greater value and service to customers”.

“We are excited to join Airsoft Group,” says Carmine del Duca, Managing Director of Tekno Uno. “We share the same values and philosophy, including the importance of technical expertise and truly understanding customer needs. Being part of Airsoft Group will also create opportunities for our employees to grow, and together we’ll be an even stronger solution provider with increased engineering capabilities for the future”.

“Tekno Uno is an excellent first addition to the Airsoft Group and a great example of the kind of company we want to partner with going forward,” added Anton Kullh, Managing Director, Industrial Automation at Axel Johnson International. “This acquisition strengthens our joint technical capabilities, commercial offering and geographic reach. It marks an exciting step in our continued growth journey”.

This acquisition marks Airsoft’s first step in building a leading European platform for automation components and technical solutions, underlining Axel Johnson International’s Industrial Automation business group’s commitment to expanding its presence in the automation components field while supporting the long-term development of its companies and employees.
