Anders Slettengren Joins the Board of Axel Johnson International
Axel Johnson International is pleased to announce that Anders Slettengren has been appointed to its Board of Directors. With extensive experience in investments, business development across multiple industries, Anders further strengthens the Board’s strategic capabilities as the group continues its growth journey.
Anders Slettengren brings a strong background from leading roles in both listed and privately held investment environments. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President at the listed investment company Ratos, where he was responsible for the Industrial and Consumer business areas. Prior to that, he was CEO at Industrifonden. Earlier in his career, he held senior roles at Novax, the investment arm of Axel Johnson, including serving as CEO. In January 2026, Anders joined Axel Johnson’s Management Team as Executive Vice President Strategy & Investments.
His combination of industrial insight, transaction experience, and long-term ownership perspective aligns closely with Axel Johnson International’s decentralized business model and entrepreneurial, value-based culture.

At the same time, two highly appreciated Board members, Marie Ehrling and Paul Schrotti, are stepping down from the Board. Paul Schrotti has been a member of the Board for 16 years and has played an important role during a transformative and expansive period in the group’s history. Marie Ehrling has served on the Board for nine years, providing sharp business judgment and strong leadership insight.
