Axel Johnson International Strengthens Lifting Solutions Through the Acquisition of Danish Crane Building A/S
Axel Johnson International’s business group Lifting Solutions, has acquired Danish Crane Building A/S (DCB), a Danish manufacturer of advanced crane systems for industrial applications. The acquisition further strengthens Lifting Solutions’ position in engineered lifting solutions and adds specialist expertise in automated crane systems for complex operating environments.
Founded in 1983, DCB has built a strong market position through its ability to deliver highly customized crane solutions for customers in the biomass, biogas, waste, and process industries. The company offers a complete value chain including design, engineering, in-house production, installation, commissioning, and aftermarket service. With headquarters and production facilities in Nibe, Denmark, DCB also serves customers internationally.
The acquisition represents a strong strategic fit for Lifting Solutions.
