Jonas Samuelson Appointed Board Chair of Axel Johnson International
Axel Johnson International announces that Jonas Samuelson has been appointed as the new Chair of the Board, starting on March 10. Jonas Samuelson succeeds Caroline Berg, who has served as acting Chair since November 2024 and will now return to her role as a board member.
Jonas Samuelson brings extensive experience from senior leadership positions. Most recently, he served as CEO and Group President of Electrolux from 2016 until January 2025, and he has been a board member of Axel Johnson since 2018. He is a member of the board of Volvo Cars and has previously worked at SAAB Automobile and General Motors.
