Nomo Group Expands Offering Within Linear Technology by Acquiring Assets in Bosch Rexroth
Nomo Group, part of Axel Johnson International’s business group Power Transmission Solutions, has signed an agreement to acquire assets in Bosch Rexroth Customizing Center in Helsingborg, Sweden. This acquisition is fully in line with Nomo’s strategic direction in strengthening its linear business. With the addition of Bosch Rexroth’s Helsingborg unit, Nomo is expanding its offering in linear technology and industrial automation across the Nordics.
Bosch Rexroth Customizing Center in Helsingborg specializes in advanced factory automation solutions, integrating its own linear motion, assembly technology, and intralogistics to create customized production lines. The addition of a new manufacturing facility will enable Nomo to optimize production capabilities. Furthermore, accessing additional technical expertise within linear technology and adding new product segments to its portfolio will also strengthen Nomo’s market position in the Nordics.
“This strategic acquisition is a milestone in our development, we are taking a clear step into the future and strengthening our role as a leading Nordic player in industrial automation and linear technology. This initiative is fully in line with our strategy of combining technical expertise with proximity to customers, driving growth both for us and for our customers”, says Henrik Walter, CEO, Nomo Group.
Bosch Rexroth is a strong partner to Nomo and its subsidiary Avans Linjärteknik. Nomo has a strong market reputation, a diverse customer base, and a well-established sales network, while Avans Linjärteknik possesses the linear expertise. With the addition of Bosch Rexroth Customizing Center to its offering, Nomo now launch a new business unit, merging Bosch Rexroth Customizing Center into Avans Linjärteknik and rebranding it to Nomo Automation.
Nomo Automation brings together expertise and will provide customers with a comprehensive offering in linear technology and industrial automation, including assembly technology. For customers, this means greater reliability, shorter lead times, and access to fully customised solutions, all from a single regional supplier.
“With Bosch Rexroth’s leading portfolio and expertise in linear and automation solutions, combined with Nomo’s Nordic network and experience, we can now offer a unique width and flexibility. We look forward to supporting our new and existing customers with their challenges, whether simple or highly advanced”, says Per Brorsson, Managing Director, Nomo Automation.
