Royse Expands Its presence in Spain with the acquisition of Rodaments I Subministraments Cappont

Spanish company Rodamientos y Servicios S.L. (“Royse”), part of Axel Johnson International’s business group Power Transmission Solutions, continues its geographical expansion by acquiring Rodaments I Subministraments Cappont S.L. (“Cappont”). Located in the leading industrial region Catalonia, Cappont is an established multi-brand distributor of power transmission products and related services.

Founded in 1996 by the two brothers Victor Manuel Agusti Robles and Ramon Jorge Agusti Robles, Cappont is a well-known solutions provider based in Lleida, Catalonia. With Cappont’s history with SKF, its focus and main expertise lies within bearings and transmission products. The company also has a growing service offering and operates a workshop for the maintenance and repair of conveyor belts, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Victor Manuel will remain in the company as a local branch manager, while older brother Ramon Jorge will retire.

Holding a strong market position, the addition of Cappont and its 30 employees will enable Royse to serve more customers in the region with a broad product range and comprehensive service offering. Meanwhile, Cappont will benefit from Royse’s extensive experience and capabilities. The acquisition aligns with Royse’s strategy of geographical expansion, increasing its presence to 18 branches in Spain and Portugal.
