Strengthened Position in Czech Motion Control Market Through the Acquisition of RAVEO Group

Axel Johnson International’s business group Power Transmission Solutions grows in Central and Eastern Europe with the acquisition of RAVEO Group. Known for its technical expertise and unique offering, RAVEO holds a strong market position as one of the largest independent power transmission and motion control specialists in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

RAVEO is a leading supplier of motion technology for industrial applications with branches in Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland. Founded in 2010 by Radek Kaňovsky and Aleš Zapletal, RAVEO is a solution-oriented company offering premium products and value-added services. The company, with its 35 employees, has a strong customer- and supplier base with a product portfolio centered around key power transmission components essential for automation, with electrical motors as the largest product segment.

The founders, with their extensive experience in mechatronics, have successfully developed RAVEO to meet the growing demand for motion control, linear products, electrical motors and gearboxes associated with automation trends. Since its establishment in 2010, the company has grown rapidly and now consists of six legal entities, all with a clear purpose to be at the forefront of technology while meeting the increased demand for automation components.

The current owners Radek Kaňovsky and Aleš Zapletal will remain in the company as minority shareholders, and RAVEO will continue to operate under its established name, but now as a part of Axel Johnson International.
