Amanda Blom - Accentuation
My work explores patriarchal attitudes to women and femininity, applying a biomythographic approach, a form of theorising through narrative and experience, to study the concepts.
In my project, I strive to legitimise femininity in the gender-power order, by enhancing stereotypical associations, and thereby giving some heft, a female heft, that is subtracted from the patriarchy.
