I got my idea for the tray table when I thought about the problem of sitting outside and eating; crockery, glasses, food and drink have to be carried out and in. I wanted to make carrying them easier and used the classic tray and side table as my basis. The tray table has a high edge and a tall frame, and the tray table has a water jet-cut pattern inspired by the pomegranate.
