My first thought was that I wanted to create a kind looking pattern, something that would not look edgy or too geometric. I experimented with watercolors and different kinds of brushes. I found the identity that I was looking for in the variation of tones that the brush left when running out of color, and that’s the way my concept started. I got inspired by the brush itself, nuances of the same color, lines, blinds and patterns from the 1950’s.
