Beckmans College of Design Stockholm x Paris Fashion Week
Seven strong emerging fashion designers from Beckmans College of Design are making the leap to the international fashion scene with a showroom at Paris Fashion Week.
High-profile collections and designers
The graduation collections are now coming to Paris Fashion Week, where they are shown for the first time since the Stockholm House of Culture & City Theater show in May. Since then, collections have appeared in fashion reports. Artists and the creators of the collections have been awarded several scholarships from, among others, the Swedish Fashion Association, Swedish Fashion Council and Nordiska Kompaniet.
Showroom at the Swedish Institute
Between September 29th and October 2nd the showroom at the Swedish Institute in Marais will provide the platform for the graduation collections 2022. An opportunity to meet all the designers, having a closer look at their collections and to see their portfolios will take place.
When working with the graduation collections, the students have undertaken a complete design process and explored their approach as designers, from research and formulation of a concept, to actual making of the garments that illustrate what they want to say as creators and how they want to contribute to the fashion scene.

About the project
The project is made possible through close collaboration with the Swedish Fashion Association, the Swedish Institute in Paris, DS Automotives and Stockholm Fashion District. The project is produced and curated by Annika Berner.

About Swedish Fashion Now
Swedish Fashion Now is a global platform organized during Paris Fashion Week at the Swedish Institute by the Association of Swedish Fashion Brands in collaboration with the Swedish Institute. In addition to the Beckmans College of Design presentation of emerging designers, a number of Swedish fashion brands are exhibited, among them Beckmans alumni Lars Wallin Couture and Rita Roslin/Streameria.

Om Beckmans Designhögskola
Beckmans Designhögskola i Stockholm utbildar inom tre konstnärliga kandidatprogram (180 hp): Form, Mode och Visuell kommunikation samt den förberedande utbildningen Beckmans Kvällsskola. Design finns överallt och skapar förutsättningar både kulturellt och ekonomiskt.
