Producer Big Swede releases club single “Take U Higher” featuring Papa Dee
Los Angeles, CA, Nov 28, 2012 – The Swedish born producer/artist known as Big Swede is releasing his new club single, “Take U Higher,” on Dec 5th, 2012. The track features chart topping Swedish rapper/singer/ragga-master Papa Dee on vocals.
The release comes with three extra versions of the track - a shorter Radio Edit and two Remixes. “The track lent itself to some different versions, and it was fun to edit Papa Dee’s vocals in different ways for the two Remixes. On the ‘BS Take U Remix,’ I pitched down his vocal to unrecognizable territory,” explains Big Swede.
According to Big Swede, the track is all about making you have fun, and tells you to get ready to have fun. “I always like to work with different vocalists, both male and female. My old friend Papa Dee’s vocals on this track might be a little different than people are used to hearing from him,” continues Big Swede.
Big Swede’s credits include: Mercedes Benz “Super Service” Commercial feat. Roger Federer, NCIS, CSI: Miami, Alphas, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, Real World, tour introduction music for Van Halen, drum samples for KISS and collaborations with Reeves Gabrels (David Bowie, The Cure) and Les Hemstock (Hemstock & Jennings).
