Here it is, this is the line up for the 2015 festival, and we´re happy to present 12 international artists from around the world attending No Limit Street Art Borås. On the 3-6th of September, the Swedish town Borås once again will open it´s walls to public art.
Årets löparfest Kretsloppet går av stapeln den 19 september i Borås. I år har företaget Rudholm & Haak tagit fram en medalj som till 100 procent är biologiskt nedbrytningsbar till loppet. Med Kretsloppets starka miljöprofilering är detta en nyhet och detalj som organisationen sökt efter.
Kretsloppet tillsammans med Borås AIK, Norrby IF och SISU gör nu en satsning för integrationen i Borås. Under Kretsloppet den 19 september kommer ungdomar från Norrby och Hässleholmen få möjligheten att springa loppet gratis. Detta för att få fler från dessa stadsdelar att upptäcka idrott, föreningslivet, och framför allt minska utanförskap.
Born in Los Angeles in 1978, Tristan began pursuing street art as a teenager, painting everything from walls to billboards in the urban landscape wherever he lived, including London, Detroit and Brooklyn. After growing up on comic books, graffiti and skateboard culture, Tristan designed his first toy for Fisher Price at 18 years old and began working as an artist full-time.
Fredagens FashionDAYS går nu mot sitt slut och aktiviteterna i Textile Fashion Center har varit välbesökta av personer som söker inspiration, vill mötas eller bara shoppa. I morgon är dag 2 av FashionDAYS och då står Textile Fashion Centers dörrar öppna för 42 nya aktiviteter.
Familjeäventyret Adventure Walk går av stapeln den 25-26 april på naturreservatet Rya Åsar i Borås. Det är de yngres alternativ till Linnémarschen – Sveriges största vandringsevent, med start och mål på Borås Arena. Barnen får uppleva en spännande dag i skogen på en bansträckning av totalt 6 km med en mängd olika äventyrsstationer längs med vägen.
I morgon är det dags för mode och inspirationseventet FashionDAYS. Programmet är fullsatt med 71 aktiviteter, alla en anledning att besöka Textile Fashion Center på fredag och lördag.
Logan Hicks is a New York-based artist known for his photorealistic stenciled paintings. Studying at the Maryland Institute of Contemporary Art in the early 1990s, Hicks cut his teeth as a successful screen printer, before being inspired to branch into stencils.
Populära hittaut.nu växer för varje år. Projektet innefattar i dagsläget 16 orter och har blivit en stor succé på samtliga. Den stora kartan släpps även i år traditionsenligt under Linnémarschhelgen, den 25-26 april.
Varje helg under perioden 18 april till 7 juni erbjuder kulturstaden Borås tio konstvandringar med alltifrån street art, skulpturer, arkitektur, textil och måleri till pop- och fotokonst. Det är Abecita Konstmuseum, Borås Konstmuseum, No Limit Street Art, Textilmuseet och Textile Fashion Center som nu tar ett samlat grepp under rubriken ”Staden som galleri”.

rots 26 år på nacken presenterar Sommartorsdagarna® i år sju stycken akter som aldrig tidigare stått på Sommartorsdagarnas scen! Programmet är en härlig blandning mellan melodifestival, svensk hip-hop och starka kvinnliga artister. ”Nytt på Sommartorsdagarnas scen” var ett ledord i årets bokningsarbete som en motvikt till förra årets 25-årsjubiluem.

Inför O-Ringen i Borås sommaren 2015 gör nu funktionärsföreningarna en storsatsning kring att locka fler till sporten och engagera nybörjare i sommarens tävlingar. Vid dryga tiotalet tillfällen under vår och försommar erbjuds prova på och utbildning runt om i Boråsregionen.

No Limit Street Art Borås var en succé 2014 när 11 internationellt kända konstnärer målade väggar runt om i staden. Nu blir No Limit tillgängligt för världen på ett nytt sätt när Google Cultural Institute samlar verken online.
