Brännland Cider wins best ice-cider 2015 at SISGA 15

The international competition, now in its 5th year, is organised by the Asturias XXI foundation and La Sidra Magazine together with the city of Gijòn. The jury is composed of cider producers, journalists and trade representatives from across Europe. Brännland Iscider 2013 33 Bx won the award in competition with several european producers.

- Brännland Iscider 2013 is only our second commercial vintage and we’re of course extremely proud that our cider can hold it’s own in an international competition like SISGA. Even more so because SISGA is judged not only by experts, sommeliers and members of the trade, but also by other producers. In effect we’re being judged by our peers and some of the best out there at that. We’re also humble as to what this means in terms of our future adherence to even better quality. We need to constantly set our standards higher to show that cider can and should be a premium product.
