Carmenta UAS Mission Kit now supports Android

Gothenburg, Sweden, September 15, 2026 – Carmenta has released Carmenta UAS Mission Kit 2026.1 with support for Android, expanding deployment options for uncrewed aerial systems (UAS) mission applications across Windows, Linux, and Android.

Android is widely used in both military and commercial UAS environments. With the addition of Android support, developers and system integrators can build, deploy, and maintain mission applications across a broader range of devices while reusing the same application architecture and geospatial capabilities across multiple platforms.

Carmenta UAS Mission Kit is a software development kit designed to reduce development time and risk for UAS mission applications. It provides advanced geospatial functionality that supports mission planning, situational awareness, and other map-based workflows commonly used in UAS operations.
