Chalmers Ventures Tech Matching-program omvandlar banbrytande idéer till tillväxtbolag
Göteborg – Chalmers Ventures öppnar nu den årliga ansökan till Tech Matching for Incubation, ett ledande program för att omvandla banbrytande idéer, forskningsresultat och ny teknik till skalbara tillväxtbolag. Genom att sammanföra spetsinnovation med entreprenöriell kompetens bidrar programmet till att överbrygga gapet mellan forskning och kommersialisering.
Tech Matching for Incubation är en av världens ledande matchningsprocesser för kommersialisering av forskning och teknik. Programmet riktar sig till forskare, innovatörer och teknikbolag som är redo att ta steget från idé till marknad, genom att matchas med entreprenörsteam från Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship.
Programmet bygger på över 25 års nära samarbete mellan Chalmers Ventures och Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship och är utformat för att ge lovande innovationer det momentum som krävs för att utvecklas till livskraftiga och konkurrenskraftiga bolag.
Från idé till bolag – tillsammans med framtidens entreprenörer
Inom ramen för Tech Matching for Incubation matchas utvalda idéer, teknologier och forskningsresultat med studentteam från masterprogrammet i Entrepreneurship vid Chalmers tekniska högskola. Tillsammans arbetar parterna intensivt med att analysera kommersiell potential, verifiera marknadsbehov och utvärdera möjligheten att bygga ett skalbart bolag.
Projekt med positivt utfall kan erbjudas en plats i Chalmers Ventures prisbelönta Venture Building Program, med tillgång till affärsutveckling, nätverk, kapital och långsiktigt stöd. Eventuella vinster som genereras av Chalmers Ventures återinvesteras i finansiering av framtida forskning vid Chalmers.

Vem kan ansöka?
Ansökan är nu öppen. Programmet söker i första hand tre typer av teknikpartners:
Forskare
Akademiska forskare med intressanta upptäckter, lovande forskningsresultat eller nyutvecklad teknik.
Innovatörer
Individer som har utvecklat ny teknik utanför akademin eller etablerade företag, förutsatt att tekniken uppfyller programmets kriterier.
Teknikbolag
Bolag med ny teknik som utvecklats som spin-out eller carve-out utanför företagets kärnverksamhet.
Tekniska urvalskriterier
Vid utvärdering av idéer och teknologier läggs särskild vikt vid:
- Ägande – exempelvis uppfinningar, dataset, metoder, design, IP eller unikt know-how
- Innovationshöjd – tekniken eller dess tillämpning ska vara tydligt differentierande
- Marknadspotential – stark potential för global skalbarhet är avgörande

Gothenburg – Chalmers Ventures is now opening the annual application round for Tech Matching for Incubation, a leading program designed to transform breakthrough ideas, research results, and new technologies into scalable growth companies. By bringing together cutting-edge innovation and entrepreneurial expertise, the program helps bridge the gap between research and commercialization.
Tech Matching for Incubation is one of the world’s leading matching processes for the commercialization of research and technology. The program targets researchers, innovators, and technology companies that are ready to take the step from idea to market, by matching them with entrepreneurial teams from the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship.
The program is built on more than 25 years of close collaboration between Chalmers Ventures and the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship and is designed to give promising innovations the momentum required to develop into viable and competitive companies.
From idea to company – together with the entrepreneurs of tomorrow
Within Tech Matching for Incubation, selected ideas, technologies, and research results are matched with student teams from the Master’s Programme in Entrepreneurship at Chalmers University of Technology. Together, the parties work intensively to analyze commercial potential, validate market needs, and assess the feasibility of building a scalable company.
Projects with positive outcomes may be offered a place in Chalmers Ventures’ award-winning Venture Building Program, with access to business development support, networks, capital, and long-term backing. Any profits generated by Chalmers Ventures are reinvested in the financing of future research at Chalmers.

Tech Matching for Incubation 2022–2023
Who can apply?
The application is now open. The program primarily seeks three types of technology partners:
Researchers
Academic researchers with interesting discoveries, promising research results, or newly developed technology.
Innovators
Individuals who have developed new technology outside academia or established companies, provided the technology meets the program’s criteria.
Technology companies
Companies with new technology developed as a spin-out or carve-out outside the company’s core business.
Technical selection criteria
When evaluating ideas and technologies, particular emphasis is placed on:
Ownership – such as inventions, datasets, methods, design, IP, or unique know-how
Level of innovation – the technology or its application must be clearly differentiating
Market potential – strong potential for global scalability is essential
The application deadline for Tech Matching for Incubation is March 3, 2026.
