SWENGLISH SLIP-UPS 8

Swedes comment on food as they eat it, especially if they are invited to dinner. They have the strange habit of saying the food was good even while they are still eating it. A friend of mine recently remarked on the meal I had prepared.
- This fish was really good, he said.
- Tommy, dear chap’, I said, ‘you have made two mistakes. Firstly in English we say ‘this fish is really good’ and secondly, it’s not fish, it’s chicken’.

Colin’s comment: Anybody got any good recipes for chicken?
