Court22 first to go live with PadelLevels: padel players get a rating that travels with them
Court22, the all-in-one platform for racket sports venues, is the first platform to take PadelLevels live for its players. Since spring 2026, league players at participating venues have been building their rating through matches recorded in Court22, and within the coming weeks it opens to every padel player in the app. Something padel players have long asked for becomes real in Court22 first: one level that follows the player, whatever the venue, platform or country.
Context: one sport, many level scales
Padel has grown faster than almost any other sport, and the way players are levelled has fragmented with it. A player can have a different level depending on the venue, the app and the country, and that level stays in the system where it was built. Change venue, play in another city or use another app, and you start from zero.
PadelLevels is built as independent rating infrastructure that sits across those systems rather than competing with them. Court22 shares that view and chose to connect directly to PadelLevels instead of building a rating that only works inside Court22. Court22 was the first platform to do it for real, with players building their rating in live use.

What is live now
The integration has been running in beta since spring 2026, first for players in leagues run through Court22. Matches and results recorded in league play contribute to the player's PadelLevels rating, which the player sees in their Court22 profile and can take with them beyond Court22.
Court22's leagues already have their own standings and an automatic ranking per league. The PadelLevels rating is something else: a measure of the player's level built on every recorded result, not tied to a single league, venue or platform.
Next step: every player in the app
Within the coming weeks the rating opens to all padel players in Court22, including those who do not play organised league padel. Court22 has more than 475 000 users (according to Court22, as of August 2026), and when the rating opens every padel player among them gets a level they can take with them.
The staged rollout has given Court22 and PadelLevels time to quality-assure the rating model, the in-app experience and the technical connection before more players come in. The exact date will be announced when the rollout is ready.

Better matched games, for players and for venues
For the player, a shared and portable rating makes it easier to understand their level, find even matches and follow their development over time. When the level gap is reasonable, games are more fun for everyone on court, and it gets easier to find new people to play with and join activities at the right level.
For the venue, the rating makes it easier to put together leagues, open matches, training and competitions for different levels, and gives players more reasons to come back. The rating is not there to shut anyone out. It is there to help more people find the right context.
