Crystal Alarm mobile app awarded the Swedish Telecom Prize for Service of the Year 2015

Crystal Code AB received recognition for its smart phone-based personal alarm at the Telecom gala at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm on 11 February. The company won the award for their Crystal Alarm app, which offers increased security and safety at work, in the ’Service of the Year 2015’ category.

“The app is the only one on the market which activates an alarm when you press a key, even in locked mode. This ensures security is always at hand” said Jens Olsson, Chief Technology Officer at Crystal Code.

The Telecom Prize is Sweden’s leading prize in the telecom sector and is awarded by Telekomnyheterna, an independent news channel. The aim is to recognise companies and individuals who have excelled within the telecom industry during the year. By winning the Service of the Year award, Crystal Alarm joins exalted company in the form of past winners such as Swish (2014) and Wordfeud (2013).

”It feels really great to receive acknowledgement for the product. We have refined Crystal Alarm in recent years and I have personally put in a lot of time and effort into making it user-friendly, safe and stable,” said Jens.

All this makes Crystal Alarm a very meaningful product to develop,” said Jens.
