Cub Business Systems excels with two awards at Nordic meeting

On Wednesday night, Cub Business Systems had more than one reason to celebrate their achievements this year. At the Nordic meeting award show Wednesday night in Gothenburg, Sweden, Cub Business Systems managed to take home two awards, one for Best ISV (Independent Software Vendor) and another one for Best Solution.

Wednesday night, Zebra Technologies held its annual Nordic meeting in Gothenburg, Sweden, a well-visited and celebratory event, which culminates in a prestigious award ceremony after sunset. Cub Business Systems’ CEO, Göran Thörn, was called up on stage twice, receiving recognition for Best ISV and Best Solution.
"Zebra Technologies is one of the world's largest automation equipment manufacturers and solutions, so this is of course a big deal for us," says Thörn.

The reason for CUB’s double award win can be attributed to, among other things, their industry-leading technology that transforms software solutions from existing platforms onto Android devices. Another key element to their success is CUB’s strong Pick & Collect, a well-established solution in the Swedish market.
"Of course we are delighted to receive both awards tonight. It is an acknowledgment of the partnership we have with Zebra, and also of the strong solutions we develop and deliver to our customers. Another good sign is that several of the largest players in the Swedish retail market use our systems, and that we are now attracting interest from foreign markets”, says CEO Göran Thörn.

With a strongly focus in the retail vertical and also into parts that cover the warehouse this ISV holds a strong position among adding business value into these types of customers business operations. Own developers with strong skills this ISV is a real driver for transferring the industry from traditional Microsoft based solutions into the new Android world.

Best solution sales of the year – 2016:
Motivation/Justification
E -commerce is at its boost and we see retailers that transfer and adjusting their business model to meet this new demands. A traditional industry like the food retailers has really been challenged during the last year in their core market. This ISV has understand this change and has addressed this market by a leading Pick & Collect solution that is at interest and also implemented in retailers as ICA, Axfood, Coop and the reference list will definitely grow even more.
