Quarterly Report Q1: Launches, Anniversary, and Continued Growth for Demex
A Fast-Paced Quarter
The first quarter has truly been full-on. We experienced a cold winter with deep frost in the ground, which affected some projects and caused a few delays along the way. At the same time, we maintained strong momentum in production throughout, largely thanks to a solid order backlog and a great team that keeps the pace up. Despite challenging weather conditions, we have managed to sustain a high delivery rate. This demonstrates the strength of both our organization and our planning.
Highlights from the Quarter
Launch of Demex Home
During the quarter, we launched demexhome.se, a new website aimed at private individuals, animal owners, and homeowners. With a clearer offering, improved structure, and more inspiring content, we are making it easier to find the right solutions for homes and animal environments. This initiative is an important step in expanding our offering and reaching new customer segments.
30th Anniversary
This year, we are celebrating 30 years. The anniversary was marked together with the entire team as we took a moment to reflect on our journey and celebrate together. Our founder, David, shared a brief story about how it all began and how the company has evolved to where it is today. We then enjoyed burgers, cake, and music in the spring sunshine, which everyone at Demex agreed was a great way to celebrate turning 30. We wrapped up the celebration with all employees trying their luck at our Demex prize wheel, featuring great rewards.
Fence Day (Stängseldagen)
Fence Day 2026 became a valued meeting place for the industry, filled with knowledge sharing, conversations, and inspiration. The day began with a presentation by our Marketing Coordinator, Rasmus, followed by many engaging discussions throughout the day.
Intertraffic Amsterdam
In March, we participated in Intertraffic in Amsterdam, one of the leading meeting places for infrastructure and traffic technology. During the event, we met stakeholders from several markets and had many rewarding discussions about projects and solutions within perimeter protection. The exhibition resulted in new contacts, business opportunities, and valuable insights. At our booth, we showcased our security gate SUMO and our digital solution, the Demex App. Our dart competition was also a popular activity that contributed to an open and relaxed atmosphere with many spontaneous interactions.
Demex Poland 10 Years
During the quarter, Demex Poland also celebrated its 10th anniversary. The milestone was marked together with the team with cake and champagne, a great opportunity to pause and celebrate the journey so far.
ISO Audit
During the quarter, we completed an ISO audit in accordance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001, which we successfully passed. This confirms that our work meets a high standard and that we continue to develop in the right direction.
Looking Ahead
We continue to strengthen our team, with several exciting recruitments underway. Demand remains strong and the outlook is positive. We are keeping up the pace and continuing to deliver high-quality products and solutions in every project. Next stop is Nordbygg, April 21 to 24. We hope to see you there.
