Invitation to Virtual Press Conference: “State of globalization in times of COVID-19” – DHL Global Connectedness Index 2020

We look back on a year like none of us ever thought possible. In 2020, the Coronavirus kept and still keeps the world in suspense and changed everything. Countries everywhere went into lockdown, bans and restrictions made travel almost impossible and uncertainty pervades societies. Given that globalization already faced headwinds in the past, this year’s DHL Global Connectedness Index examines the effects of the Covid-19 storm on the state of globalization. More than ever before, the insights and facts in this report – which poses a health check for globalization based on flows of trade, capital, information, and people – are essential to make informed business and public policy decisions in times of a major crisis.
