DHL NAMED EXCLUSIVE DELIVERY PROVIDER FOR HARD ROCK INTERNATIONAL

DHL to Manage Hard Rock’s “Top of the Rock” Program PLANTATION, FL – March 29, 2007 / DHL, the world’s leading global express delivery and logistics company, today announced a new multi-year contract with Hard Rock International, one of the world’s most recognized music, entertainment and dining brands with hotels, casinos and cafes worldwide. As part of the new agreement, DHL will provide its shipping services to all Hard Rock Cafe locations around the globe. Hard Rock switched to DHL to handle all shipping needs, including delivery of inventory from Hard Rock’s distribution center in Louisville, KY to locations worldwide, and to fulfill online merchandise orders from www.hardrock.com. With 123 Hard Rock Cafes in 46 countries, Hard Rock was also looking for a dependable carrier to entrust its one-of-a-kind displays, memorabilia and historic display pieces for shipment to all Hard Rock locations worldwide. “Our locations are able to express the “rock ‘n’ roll” experience, in large part, by leveraging DHL’s global expertise, flexibility and full portfolio of distribution solutions,” said Brian Siemienas, Senior Director of Marketing for Hard Rock International. “With its strong US network and global coverage, we see DHL as the perfect express delivery partner to manage our valuable memorabilia for all of our locations worldwide.” DHL will be supporting Hard Rock’s "Top of the Rock" awards program, which recognizes the top performing Hard Rock Cafes around the world with the honor of displaying special pieces from its famous memorabilia collection. Once a month, DHL will transport guitars once played by rock 'n' roll legends like Jimi Hendrix and Kiss guitarist Ace Frehley to Hard Rock Cafes throughout the world. “Hard Rock owns the world’s largest collection of music memorabilia, and we entrust DHL for its safe and secure transport,” said Siemienas.
