Done strikes up a strong partnership with giant construction retail chain

The Swedish tech startup Done is stepping in as an installation partner for the construction warehouse K-Rauta. A strategic collaboration for both parties, where K-Rauta will be an important part for Done’s rapid growth and expansion journey. Together, they launch a competitive offer to consumers who - in selected cities - can now book craftsmen directly in the warehouses and online.

Done continues its expansion journey and is now launching the service in two new cities - Örebro and Umeå. This in collaboration with K-Rauta, a partnership where Done acts as installation partner. Via Done, K-Rauta offers consumers hassle-free installation of selected plumbing products at a fixed price by a certified plumber.

“The collaboration is strategically important for K-Rauta as part of our digital acceleration and aim to offer a competitive customer experience. Our motto is that we help the customer 'from start to finish' - something we live up to with this service. I believe that our customers will find the app easy to use and that they get hold of skilled, certified craftsmen in a short time”, says Daniel Ahlqvist, COO, K-Rauta.

Finding a plumber who is willing to take on a smaller installation is difficult. Plumbers often say no to smaller projects as too much time is spent on administrative work such as quotations, ROT-management and project coordination. With fixed price quotes and easy ROT-management, Done minimizes the administrative work for plumbers, enabling affiliated plumbing companies to have time for and wanting to do smaller installations. A great security for the customer, who gets an installation carried out by a knowledgeable craftsman. In addition, the entire customer journey, from booking to invoicing, is completely digitalized in Done's app.

Installation at a fixed price of selected plumbing products will initially be available in stores and online in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, Örebro and Umeå. Done and K-Rauta plan to launch the collaboration in additional cities in the future, as well as activate more product segments.
