DREAMHACK MASTERS RETURNS TO MALMÖ, $250,000 CS:GO CHAMPIONSHIP SEPTEMBER 2-3RD
After an explosive first edition of DreamHack Masters Malmö held in April 2016, DreamHack today confirms in partnership with Monster Energy, HyperX and ASUS ROG that the event will return in 2017, with the playoffs taking place in Malmö Arena on September 2nd and 3rd. DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016 was visited by over 12,500 visitors and was the most viewed CS:GO event of 2016 outside of the Valve Majors. DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 will be the third edition of the DreamHack Masters event series - following DreamHack Masters Las Vegas which is being hosted this February 15 - 19th.
DreamHack Masters Malmö 2017 will feature 16 of the world’s best CS:GO teams competing live over a $250,000 prize pool. The event will feature a closed to public group stage taking place on August 30th, 31st and September 1st, and an epic conclusion with the playoffs taking place on the big stage in Malmö Arena on September 2nd and 3rd.

DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016 was one of the most memorable events of last year, with the hometown favourite, but underdog at the time, Ninjas in Pyjamas taking home the title on home turf! DreamHack will look to build upon the overwhelming success of the 2016 edition of the event. Visitors and online viewers can expect new features, their favourite personalities, and the most immersive live experience for the dedicated CS:GO fan!

Tickets are already available for the event, with a limited number of Early Bird tickets on sale for three weeks until 28th of February 2017. Early Bird Premium tickets are available at a reduced price of 1495 SEK, and Early Bird Regular tickets are available for 265 SEK. Alongside that, the popular private skyboxes are available for 25 000 SEK, which provide special Skybox tickets for up to eight visitors. Tickets are available for purchase here.
Last year the Early Bird Premium tickets sold out in four days and Skyboxes sold out in 10 minutes, so make sure to get your Early Bird tickets or Skybox before they are sold out!

DreamHack Masters launched in 2016, as DreamHack’s first large-scale arena event, the first event took place in Malmö, Sweden in April 2016. The event serves as the ultimate experience for esports fans from around the world wanting to watch their favorite professional teams and players play on the biggest of stages.
