The Brand New Republique is awarded gold medal in prestigious rum competition!

The Brand New Republique was launched to the Swedish market in March, 2015 and has now also reached success in the prestigious rum tasting competition organized by the International Rum Conference in Madrid in May. The Brand New Republique was rewarded with a gold medal in the category fruit flavored rum.

"The fact that TBN Republique is awarded with a gold medal proves the quality of the product and unique taste. We are very proud of this award and hope it helps to spread the word about our fantastic rum", says Peter Kokovic, Business Area Manager at Enjoy Wine and Spirits, producer of the rum.

The rum originates from Mascarene Islands in the Indian Ocean where the single largest Island is Mauritius. The Mascarenes has a long tradition of producing rum and the taste of TBN Republique is of course easy to associate with a drink in the hammock under the palm trees. TBN Republique is currently available at Systembolaget in Sweden but is also strategically activated for international markets. With a bottle design as unique as its flavor, the rum is recognizable and easy to spot on the shelf.

"We have received great interest for TBN Republique, both from buyers and consumers. The product is already distributed in Norway, the Netherlands and Northern Germany but we have received request from several other markets as well", says Kristian Lindén, Export Manager at Enjoy Wine & Spirits.

“TBN Republique is a versatile product but my favorite drink is still quite simple, just add fresh lemonade and you will get a refreshing drink that reminds you of warm summer nights”, continues Kristian Lindén.
