Ericsson's hosted push e-mail solution chosen by Sun Cellular

Ericsson extends the managed service partnership with Sun Cellular to include Ericsson's hosted enterprise solution for push e-mail and Personal Information Management (PIM) called Ericsson Mobile Organizer (EMO). This agreement gives Sun Cellular a fast, easy and cost-efficient way to provide the mobile e-mail service to its subscribers. Ericsson's hosted enterprise solution allows operators to offer end-users access to both corporate and private e-mail, as well as other personal information management data while on the move. Ericsson will be responsible for the end-to-end system integration, as well as the hosting and management of the platform. The first managed services contract with Sun Cellular was announced in November 2004 and included hosting of a video streaming service.
