Holsteiner Foal Auction Returns to Falsterbo Horse Show on 11 July

Later today Falsterbo Horse Show will once again welcome the Holsteiner Verband Foal Auction. At approximately 5:00 PM, twelve promising Holstein foals will go under the hammer in a hybrid auction, giving buyers the opportunity to bid both on site in Falsterbo and online.

For the fifth time, the Holsteiner Verband Foal Auction will form part of the Falsterbo Horse Show programme. This year, marketing manager Felix Flinzer has selected twelve promising young foals with pedigrees suited for both breeding and top-level sport.

Among them is lot 3, U-Stutsborgs Zara, by Zuccero out of an Emerald van’t Ruytershof mare. The typey filly comes from a highly regarded sporting family. Her second dam is Kaprice, a daughter of Echo van’t Spieveld who competed successfully at 1.60m level with Kent Farrington and descends from the renowned Roosakker dam line.

Lot 6, Daydream, by Diarado out of an I’m Special de Muze mare, also represents an internationally successful family. Her pedigree is rooted in Holsteiner mare family 1020, which has produced horses such as European team champion Chiara, ridden by Ludger Beerbaum, and Global Champions Tour overall winner Chesall Zimequest, ridden by Simon Delestre.

– I'm very happy that we are able to present the Holsteiner Verband and our foals at this Swedish top-event also in 2026 and I would like to thank the exhibitors providing active support for my team and me, says Felix Flinzer.

The auction will be preceded by a presentation of the foals at 2:00 PM in the Main Jumping Arena. The auction begins at approximately 5:00 PM, following the Falsterbo Derby.

Those unable to attend in person can follow the auction live on ClipMyHorse.TV and place bids online. Visitors on site can combine the auction with international top-level sport, the exhibition area and the special atmosphere that makes Falsterbo Horse Show a highlight of the equestrian calendar.
