Ferroamp doubles production capacity

To meet the strong demand, Ferroamp is now expanding its collaboration with the electronics manufacturer NOTE and doubling production capacity for the patented EnergyHub system.

“With electricity prices soaring at the same time as the electricity system is fundamentally changing, Ferroamp offers property owners the opportunity to take control of their electricity use. We are therefore pleased to be able to develop our collaboration with NOTE and to scale up production," says Krister Werner, CEO, Ferroamp.

Ferroamp is a Swedish greentech company focusing on energy and power optimisation of properties. The company has developed EnergyHub, a system that can control electricity use using a patented DC technology, so that property owners can get more out of their solar cells and can also integrate electric car charging and energy storage.

During the first half of 2022, Ferroamp increased its sales by 60 percent and is now in a rapid growth phase. The production of EnergyHub has increased by about 500 percent in the last year and the plan is now to further quadruple the capacity in a short time and the agreement with NOTE is an important part of this.

The collaboration means a doubling of the rate of production in the next six months. The companies will also deepen collaboration regarding sourcing and development in order to meet the challenges of the global component market. Production takes place in Norrtälje, Sweden.
