FundedByMe, Europe's fastest-growing crowdfunding plattform successfully launches into the Baltics

The Finnish company Beibamboo raised close to € 60 000 through our platform in August 2013, and Goodio Cools, also based in Finland, raised € 50 000 in January 2014. In total, more than € 5.9 million has been raised through our service. Kristiina talked in Tallinn at the first crowdfunding event in Estonia on 13th May, organized by Tallinn Science Park Tehnopol.

Estonian YesCredit has raised € 54 000 from 27 international investors with their equity crowdfunding campaign. The campaign will close on 19th May. "The crowdfunding campaign has been an interesting way of finding new investors. But the campaign is still live, this is only the beginning", says Tobias Holmgren, the CEO of YesCredit.

Registering into the crowdfunding service is free-of-charge. FundedByMe does not charge any fees from the investors, but the entrepreneurs pay a fee based on the success of the campaign. – Crowdfunding enables the company to test its business idea, and to find a support network and funding for its business operations, allowing it to launch international operations, says Kristiina Pääkkönen.
