Gant Home is spending the fall in Vermont. This is where we'll be decorating a traditional chalet. The log walls and rustic décor form the perfect setting for our new collection, with its inspiration drawn from the clear blue skies and the glowing fall landscape of New England.

Designer Annette Lundh has once again created a collection that conveys the brand's American heritage while at the same time offering unlikely combinations and exciting contrasts. This season particularly emphasizes the coming together of chunky knits and fine woven satin, dark neutrals and bright accent colors and a striking mix of different patterns.

Carefully selected fabrics and attentive craftsmanship further emphasize the sophisticated yet relaxed elegance associated with GANT Home.

One of this season's palettes comprises nuances of navy teamed with tones of orange and rust. A French throw from the beginning of the 1900s has lent both the color scheme and the pattern image to this satin bed linen. This classic pattern can be matched with classic shirt stripes in rust or blue.

The collection's other palette presents dark gray tones and black together with purple, hot pink and nuances of crème. Yet another genuine pattern can be found here, and we've dyed it with gray tones mixed with a light material with gray mountain lilies. Knitted cushions and throws in 100% cashmere are represented here by a white cushion with a Jacquard knitted GANT emblem and three leather straps on the back.

A new season always denotes new throws by GANT Home. Classic tartan is obviously a given – but news items include pinstripe woolen throws with an embroidered monogram. A hand knit Italian throw in wool and cashmere, edged with a chunky braid is one of the collection's genuine must haves (seen on the red-rust bed above).

One of this season's biggest arrivals is the exquisitely soft and light towels: zero twist/modal is what this fine quality is called. The towels come in five different sizes, in white with an embroidered "G" in black, beige or navy. The popular scented candles will also be returning this fall in the new Cotton Clean fragrance.

Beautiful cushions have become something of a GANT Home signatory piece.  Highlights this fall include a fringe edged cushion in 100% cashmere and one in lightweight wool in classic patterns, with velvet ribbon edges and Mother-of-Pearl buttons. In addition, we have linen cushions adorned with frills with a raw edge or embroidered with French knots.
