Elias through to second round in Chennai Open

Elias got a wild card for the Chennai Open and made the most out of this golden opportunity! 

He won against Igor Sijsling from the Netherlands with 6-4, 4-6, 6-3, who currently is ranked 84 in the world. Elias coach Gianluca Marchiori says that they had a good plan about the match before. First set was a close set but Elias came out winning with a good winner return on the set point. Second set Elias had some chances to break but came short in his last serve game. Third set Elias stepped up and played with good intensity and broke Sijslings serve at 3-2, and then held his own serve easily until the end.
