GWS’ Singapore-based subsidiary signs agreement with Optima infosystems Sdn Bhd
Global Warning System’s (GWS) subsidiary GWS Production Singapore Private Limited signs a partnership agreement with Optima infosystems Sdn Bhd (Optima), a Malaysia-based IT-solutions and travel security company. Optima will be a local reseller of GWS’ Safeture concept and buy licenses from GWS in bulk.
The GWS Safeture service concept is a personal security service when traveling, which provides critical information about disasters and other threats, directly in the traveler’s smartphone through an app that is easily downloaded. Optima is an IT-solutions company with experience in offering travel security, mobile alert services and crisis communication systems to organizations with international travel activity. The agreement with GWS aims at providing leverage effect on this sales experience and network, when adding both the Safeture and Safeture Pro services to Optima’s product portfolio. Optima CEO Thanasekaran Ramiah, describes the potential:
“We consider the Safeture service as being the best technology of its kind on the market, with a lot of product features that bring true customer value to our present and potential customers. With support from our network and established sales channels, we are convinced that we will see positive sales within short.”
GWS has a sales office in Kuala Lumpur and established GWS Production Singapore Private Limited during spring 2016. The contract with Optima now means that the company’s expansion focus in the Asian Pacific region bears fruit:
