Transport operators roll in the changes

This week, Public Transport 2016 is being held in Gothenburg, and Hogia will be demonstrating TransitCloud, Hogia's new cloud based system for real-time passenger information. Supported by the Internet of Things, the provision of real-time data to and from buses can be simplified. This enables completely new opportunities for transport operators, says Mats Johansson, Chief Commercial Officer for Passenger Transport at Hogia:

Utilising the Internet of Things, we present a new and technically simpler solution that reduces the costs and provides greater freedom for both transport operators and authorities.

The authorities - primarily responsibility for providing travellers with traffic information - no longer need to be responsible for expensive and complicated on-board equipment. Operators can instead fulfil the requirements for the delivery of traffic data with simple positioning devices, lowering the cost of vehicle technology.

Several of our customers have already benefited from this evolution, and we see considerable business potential for all public transport operators.

Visit us at stand C01:12 at Public Transport 2016 to hear more about TransitCloud and how it can develop your business.
