Voci Barocche: "Barbara Strozzi, Virtuosissima Cantatrice"

Under det tredje tillfället i evenemangsserien “Barocka röster” kommer Giulia Bolcato, ackompanjerad av Gianluca Geremia (therobo) och Alberto Maron (cembalo) från Remer Ensamble, framföra en konsert kallad:

“Barbara Strozzi, virtuosissima cantatrice”

Konsertens program fokuserar på en samling arier från den venetianska sextonhundratalstraditionen, där de flertaliga kompositionerna av Barbara Strozzi utmärker sig. En okonventionell personlighet för samtidens moral och med en extraordinär musikalisk talang. Barbara Strozzi skrev endast kantater för sopran och generalbas, en ny genre som hon bidrog till att kodifiera och som karaktäriserar de åtta samlingarna hon skrev.

Programmet kompletteras med arier av Girolamo Kasperberg, Samuele Rossi och Biagio Marini.

Alla kompositioner ingår på ett album som snart kommer ut, där Giulia Bolcatos röst ackompanjeras av Remer Ensamble.
