​Israels summer is getting hotter with AVICII and more international stars

International DJ sensation, AVICII, will be returning to Israel in July 2016 for a concert in Rishon LeZion, just south of Tel Aviv. AVICII is one of the world’s hottest DJ’s, ranked 3rd in the world in 2011, 2012, and 2013 following the release of his mega-hits ‘Levels’, “Wake Me Up” and “Hey Brother”. His music has been well received around the world in EDM circles and beyond. AVICII will return to Israel to perform once at the Live Park in Rishon LeZion, just south of Tel Aviv on July 22, 2016.

The Scorpions, one of the most successful heavy metal band of all times, will perform in Tel Aviv, on July 14 in the Yad Eliyahu Stadium in Tel Aviv as part of their “Scorpions 50th Anniversary - Return to Forever” world tour. The German band, whose career started in the 60s, have now sold more than 75 million records worldwide and are most well known for their hits “Wind of Change”, “Still Loving You” and “Rock you like a Hurricane”.

Pharrell Williams will take to the stage on July 21 at Rishon Lezion’s LIVE Park. Pharrell Williams is a Grammy award-winning American musician who is best known for his 2013 hit “Happy” that became a worldwide phenomenon that inspired hundreds of fan videos displaying the “happy” vibe of various cities, countries, individuals and groups. Williams will be performing in Israel as part of a world tour that begins in Azerbaijan and then to Poland and continues on to Denmark, Holland, Belgium, London, Italy, Switzerland and several French festivals. Pharrell Lanscilo Williams was born in 1973 in Virginia and to date has been awarded 11 Grammy Awards for his work as a performer and producer.

Louis CK is making Jerusalem a stop on his world tour and will be performing in the Pais Arena. Originally there was one show scheduled for August 18 but due to the show being sold out so quickly, an additional show was added, giving Louis CK the stage twice on the same day in Jerusalem. His world tour started in Baltimore, USA and has taken him throughout the USA, to London, Paris and other European destinations and will end in New York’s Madison Square Garden on September 12. Louis Székely was born in 1967 in Washington DC, but grew up from the age of one in Mexico City and had to learn English when he moved backed to the US. Known professionally as Louis C.K., Louis began his career writing for several comedy shows in the 1990s and early 2000s for comedians including David Letterman, Conan O’Brien and Chris Rock. His acclaimed semi-autobiographical comedy-drama Louie started airing in the USA in 2010.

Queen and the American Idol Adam Lambert will perform in Tel Aviv’s HaYarkon Park on September 12. Queen, which was formed in 1970 and was lead by the iconic Freddy Mercury, never performed in Israel with Mercury, who died of AIDS-related causes in 1991. Lambert first met Queen member Brian May and Roger Taylor in 2009 when he performed as a finalist on the eighth season of “American Idol”. They have now been touring together over the past 4 years.

Ricky Martin is heading for Israel and will be performing in Tel Aviv on September 14th. Enrique Martín Morales better known as Ricky Martin, is a Puerto Rican singer, actor, and author. Martin began his career at age thirteen with the all-boy pop group. The international hit that transformed his career into the English-speaking market was Livin La Vida Loca,' which came out in 1999. Since its release, the song has sold over 8 million copies, making it one of the best selling singles of all time. His first English-language album (also titled Ricky Martin), has sold 22 million copies and is one of the best selling albums of all time.
