Knightec welcomes Karin Mellegård Djärf as new CFO as expansion momentum continues to grow

Every successful expansion plan requires skilled and driven people to facilitate growth. In the last year, we at Knightec did a merger with Daresay agency and employed a lot of highly talented people who are developing game-changing solutions for our customers.

As we gear up to reach our goal of becoming northern Europe’s leading consultants working at the crossroads of digital and industry, we now have the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in Karin Mellegård Djärf, to help us on this exciting journey.

Karin has an ideal background, having worked as an Auditor, Management Consultant and Head of Accounting within the industry and at some of the big four, here in Sweden and internationally. She joins us from AFRY, where she was VP and Head of Finance for the Infrastructure Division – which has around 6,000 employees and accounts for approximately 40 percent of the company’s turnover.

Karin’s experience will prove invaluable as we transition from predominantly supporting large Swedish companies to becoming an enterprise with an international presence. As the former VP of AFRY Infrastructure, she is used to working with large international clients, complex project structures, and strategic partnerships and mergers. Additionally, her understanding of what is required to support business development for a fast-growing service company like Knightec will be key in our expansion.

Karin will begin at Knightec on September 1^st. Her initial responsibilities will be to analyze and improve many of the company’s finance-related capabilities from tendering, bidding on, and implementing projects, through to business and pricing models. She will also be responsible for building the finance team and functions to meet the company’s needs as it grows.
