Exploring the potential of the intimate and personal properties

Welcome to Zander Vind's MFA solo exhibition Mint Condition
As a sculptor, Vind (b. 1995, Copenhagen) employs a renegotiation, transformation, and rearrangement of art historical references to articulate the processing of emotional fluctuation, mental instability, and recovery. His work is preoccupied with hobbyist practices and explores the potential of the intimate and personal properties that leisure sculpture embodies. He works in a variety of materials and techniques, mainly exploring the alteration and reappropriation of materials from different disciplines and everyday life.

Mint Condition takes on a micro perspective on living with mental illness and employs hobbyist sculpture as a concept that mirrors the care present in both recovery and in the making of small-scale objects.

Opening Thursday 28 March at Galleri Konstfack, 17–20.

General opening hours: 12–18 until Saturday 6 April.
