Master of Fine Art student Nathalie Gabrielsson presents a hybrid cultural format incorporating art exhibition, theatre play, and event at the Teater Tribunalen in Stockholm. The Eight Great Moral Imperatives asks the question: is it possible to build new social models? It explores a real-life case study of an organization that provides a practical solution to today’s main concerns: climate change, poverty, diseases, war, nutrition, health.

Focusing on the relationships between entrepreneurship, alternative forms of governance and social change, the event strives to unravel how cultural and social “models” are affected by ideological matrixes of thinking. The production takes place at Teater Tribunalen, a political venue in Stockholm that addresses key features of our contemporary life.

The event is produced and organized by Kybernein Institute (KI), a research think-tank established by Nathalie Gabrielsson to that addresses the overlaps of policy making with cultural production. It works at the intersection between art, business, and economics. Through the production of events, performances and exhibitions, it makes manifest how ideas in text and image are ultimately implemented through acts of politics. www.kybernein.org

As an artist and independent researcher, Nathalie Gabrielsson explores cultural and social models through the notion of performativity.
