Transient landscapes, temporality and not just a funny exercise...
Welcome to Krizia Zurita's and Jamie Gilroy Barrett's master exhibitions FITTING IN and What Does the Salmon Know About Water in Vita havet, vernissage Friday 19 Januari, 17–20.
What Does the Salmon Know About Water
The salmon drifts
Here, remnants of change
A wasteland of flatpack dreams
Scattered with things that never were
A perpetually unmoored existence
Unfinished, unfulfilled, unnoticed
A ghost estate
The salmon drifts
What Does the Salmon Know About Water is concerned with transient landscapes and temporality, Influenced largely by the numerous ‘ghost estates’ that were an ever-present image in the artist’s home town in Ireland. The work examines spatial and temporal structures of the everyday exploring the disjuncture between the intended and the disrupted, between the linear journey and the unmoored drift.
FITTING IN

In order to win this, your pants should fit. We don't have one winner. We have two. Or three.
It’s not just a funny exercise
It’s not even orchestrated
It’s already happening.
There’s a winner. There’s a winner but they ran away.
“MMMM, nope. They’re not long enough! No son lo suficientemente largos. De är inte tillräckligt långa.”
