Lövsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour U25 Ready for Season Two

The anticipation is building as the Lövsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour gears up for its second season. Launched in 2022, the tour provides a platform for some of Europe's best U25 riders to compete in international arenas where FEI Dressage World Cup™ competitions are held.

The tour returns for its second season, kicking off with the World Cup Herning this upcoming weekend.

Jens Trabjerg, Sport Director of World Cup Herning expresses the excitement:

- "World Cup Herning is proud to be a part of Lövsta Future Challenge International Dressage Tour. The significant support and demand in 2022 showed that young riders value the tournament and the experience gained by participating at such a high level competition. Tomorrow's senior stars will undoubtedly look back on their participation in Lövsta Future Challenge, recognising the substantial impact the tournament has had on their athletic development."

In addition to the World Cup Herning, the Lövsta Future International Dressage Tour unfolds during Jumping Amsterdam from January 25-28 and Gothenburg Horse Show from February 21-25. Each event features the U25 Grand Prix and Grand Prix Freestyle.

A change for this year is the removal of the "overall winner" which was awarded to the best overall rider of the tour. Instead, the SEK 100 000 "Overall Winner´s check" is spread out to all of the participating riders at Gothenburg Horse Show.

Thea Bech, competing for Denmark is one of the participating riders looking forward to Herning this weekend:

- ”I love the format of this show. It´s such a great way to be able to gain experience from bigger shows and it´s very inspiring with the atmosphere and all the world class riders. I´m so excited to be able to enter arenas like this!”
