Idag släpps juni-låten "Summer Night" i projektet #onesongamonth!
Idag släpper Melisha låten "Summer Night" som är den 11:e låten i projektet #onesongamonth som startade igång den 7 augusti 2021. Projektet innebär att Melisha släpper en låt i månaden med tillhörande musikvideo och denna gång blir det en upptempo låt som är en hyllning till sommarnätternas dansgolv.
Melisha är ensamstående mamma, musikproducent och har studio i Brewhouse i Göteborg sedan 10 år tillbaka. Hon har tidigare fokuserat på att producera andra artister men har själv alltid skrivit låtar. När coronapandemin slog till formades idén att fokusera på att få ut sin egen musik på egen etikett i ovan nämnda projekt. Hon gör allt själv, skriver låtarna, spelar in, spelar alla instrument, mixar och gör slutproduktion. Dessutom, på grund av projektets DIY-natur editerar hon även sina musikvideos.
Sedan projektet #onesongamonth kom igång den 7 augusti har hon utöver de låtarna som släppts per månad även släppt ett samlingsalbum med namnet 21 med ytterligare tre låtar utöver projektet, men som är släppta i 2021. Till detta tillkommer också två pianoversioner som är släppta vilket då blir totalt 16 låtar släppta på musikplattformar sedan 2021. Hon väntar ännu med att avslöja hur långt projektet är tänkt att sträcka sig, men det första året närmar sig med stormsteg.

ABOUT MELISHA
Melisha is a Swedish / Norwegian DIY producer / artist from Gothenburg with a studio in Brewhouse since the last 10 years but has had the studio for a total of 22 years. She has a Bachelor degree within music production from Dalarnas University, she attended a master's programme in audiovisual design (where a master's thesis is impatiently waiting to be completed.)
Produced for other artists but is now releasing her own music on her independent label.
Each song has its own atmosphere and soundscape and the creation of this is a big part of her creativity.
She has been a teacher within production at the University of Gothenburg, HSM, since 2017.
She co founded the non profit organization EQLovesMusic and has been the project manager for EQLovesFestival, which featured many famous female world names in music production, including Sylvia Massy, Linn FIjal, Leila Arab, Ebony Bones, Erin Tonkon, Gloria Kaba, Heba Kadry, Ana Diaz and many more.
Melisha is now also one of the Swedish representatives in a collaborative project for gender equality in music production that has been announced by Canada's National Arts Center, Ottawa. The project is a collaboration between Sweden, Canada, South Africa, Argentina and Estonia. The participants have more than 10 years of experience and the genres have emphasis on pop, electro, rock singer-songwriter / world. Go to link HERE
In the summer of 2021, Melisha started the project #onesongamonth, which means that she releases one song a month with an accompanying music video, more precisely the last Friday of each month. How long will she be able to do this ?
