Research and development are at the very heart of MIS, a company that quality reliability, safety and simplicity are its core values. As we aim to become your long time partner in the field of dental implantology, it is our obligation to deliver first class products that went through a thorough evaluation process.
There are three levels of research and development that MIS is involved in at any given moment: Proof of concept – New ideas, technologies and concepts are evaluated first. They are explored and studied from any relevant aspect by a multidisciplinary team. Following a search for known data and published literature, both internal and external preliminary studies are initiated. MIS puts a significant effort into this preliminary investigation to ensure that our products are effective and safe. Validity – after the initial evaluation, larger scale validity studies are launched.
MIS is proud to work with some of the world’s leaders in the field of dental implantology. From surface treatment specialists to basic scientists, from animal studies to human based research, MIS aims to validate each one of its products through non-biased research done in multiple centers worldwide. Long-term evaluations – following the validation studies, MIS looks back and examines past years data, and encourages researches to launch both long-term retrospective and prospective studies. The upcoming meeting in Cancun will be an opportunity to present some of the research and development that are done at MIS. World-class investigators will present their work, demonstrating the different levels of research. Innovative solutions will be presented and a new implant system will be launched as well.
