Amerikanska MTV hypar svenska Like Swimming.

Igår släpptes Like Swimmings nya video ”Go Buffalo på MTV:s blog Buzzworthy.

MTV lägger in bandet i kategorin för Icona Pop, The Knife, First Aid Kit och Robyn. Like Swimming är just nu USA aktuella för att spela på Filter Magazines Culture Collide i Los Angeles tillsammans med de svenska banden The Deer Tracks och Frida Sundemo. Like Swimming fortsätter sedan för spelningar i Nashville, Chicago och avslutar på festivalen CMJ i New York City.

Like Swimming har tidigare blivit hyllade i både USA och UK för sin nya singel ”Go Buffalo”. Den viktiga UK bloggen The Sound of Confusion skrev så här:

"Can we take the DNA of Swedish people and inject it into anyone who ever been part of the Disney club or the Brit School please? Because the formulas that organisations like those have for producing pop records seem to be broken and appear to have accidentally trotted out a load of shite for the past few years. Pop bands in Sweden are great (well, the law of averages says their must be some duffers, but we keep hearing brilliant new talent).Like Swimming are a new band from Stockholm and 'Go Buffalo' follows on from free download 'God Knows' earlier this summer.
