More real time dog tracking in WeHunt

Press release -

New WeHunt to integrate with Lafayette trackers, expanding GPS collar support

Natlink today announced that they are building an integration for WeHunt to also support tracking of Lafayette GPS tracking collars, enabling hunters to use more real time tracking data directly in the WeHunt app. The integration is designed to make it easier for hunters to manage hunts, follow dogs in real time, and share situational awareness with their team. The collaboration is part of Natlink’s strategy to make WeHunt the most complete hunting platform for all users by supporting the hardware hunters already trust and simplifying all stages of the hunt.

“With the new WeHunt, our goal is simple: Enable a connected hunting experience by giving hunters the best possible platform, no matter which gear they use,” said Carl von Eckermann, CEO of Natlink Group. “This integration is a concrete step in our platform strategy – expanding WeHunt through more partnerships so hunters can bring their preferred devices, making their game management activities more meaningful, easy and secure.”

The integration will allow WeHunt users to connect compatible Lafayette collars and access key tracking functionality directly in-app, including live collar position on the map and dog safety features. Natlink and Lafayette will also work to ensure setup is as simple as connecting a Tracker collar, and that users can control what is shared and with whom.

“By pioneering this integration with WeHunt, we create greater opportunities for both our existing and new GPS customers” said Lafayette CEO, Jens Qarlsson. “We find that many want to try our hardware, and now we make it easier for them to implement it in their existing user environment through the WeHunt app. The clear winner in this integration is definitely the users”

The integration is currently in development. Natlink plans to share more details on supported collar models, rollout timing, and setup instructions closer to launch. The new WeHunt platform will be available to users in February 2026, and the integration later in the year.
