Data Centre Expo Sweden returns to Stockholm on 26–27 May 2026 at Kistamässan, bringing together the leaders, innovators and decision-makers shaping the infrastructure behind the digital economy.

Co-located with the Stockholm Tech Show, Data Centre Expo Sweden is the Nordic region’s key meeting place for critical digital infrastructure — showcasing how Sweden’s data centres are powering the digital future through innovation, sustainability and scale.

The 2026 event will open each day with keynote sessions from two globally respected technology leaders, offering strategic insight into the forces redefining data centres in an era of AI, cloud growth and rising energy demands.

Day 1 Keynote: Dame Dawn Childs

The opening keynote will be delivered by Dame Dawn Childs, CEO of Pure Data Centres Group and one of the most influential engineering leaders in the global data centre industry.

With a career spanning large-scale infrastructure delivery, national energy systems and hyperscale development, Dame Dawn is recognised for her ability to lead complex engineering organisations through rapid transformation. Appointed Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire (DBE) for services to engineering, she is also a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering.

Her keynote will explore the leadership, sustainability and engineering principles required to build and operate data centres that can meet future digital demand — while balancing resilience, efficiency and environmental responsibility.

Day 2 Keynote: Ted Schönbeck, Nordic CTO, Google

Day 2 will feature a keynote from Ted Schönbeck, Nordic Chief Technology Officer at Google.

With deep expertise in cloud computing, artificial intelligence and enterprise transformation, Schönbeck leads Google’s technical strategy across the Nordic region. His work focuses on helping organisations adopt scalable, secure and sustainable cloud technologies — positioning data centres as a foundation for innovation rather than simply infrastructure.

In his keynote, Schönbeck will examine how AI-driven workloads, cloud-native architectures and efficiency-focused design are reshaping the role of data centres — and what this means for operators, policymakers and technology leaders across the Nordic market.
