New Nordics Pitch Competition to Launch at Stockholm Tech Live

A unique opportunity for startups and scaleups to raise visibility and meet potential investors at Scandinavia’s premier tech event.

Silicon Vikings has announced that the Swedish round of its New Nordics Pitch Competition will take place at Stockholm Tech Live, Scandinavia’s biggest technology event this year, 11-12 May 2022. The competition gives startups and scaleups a platform to present their innovations to potential investors and the winners will take part in the Grand Final, in which they will compete to be the New Nordics Grand Champion.

The jury will comprise leading representatives from Silicon Valley and Sweden’s technology investment community: venture capitalists, angel investors, IT corporates and others.

Silicon Vikings Chairman of the Board Lars E. Johansson, a Swedish national who worked for many years in the Bay Area in California, commented, “The New Nordics Pitch Competition is a unique opportunity to join one of the world’s leading innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystems, a borderless community supporting Nordic and Baltic startups and scaleups.”

Silicon Valley and Toronto based Venture Capital firm Raiven Capital is collaborating with Silicon Vikings on the New Nordics Pitch Competition. “We believe innovation is global and needs our knowledge, go-to-market experience and capital to succeed. The New Nordic Pitch Competition brings out the best in all. It allows VCs such as Raiven to understand ecosystems quickly while helping educate and drive to success. Following the Stockholm event there will be further rounds in Iceland, Norway, Denmark, Finland and the Baltic States (in Tallinn) and will conclude with a Grand Final.

Previous finalists that have gone on to enjoy business success include Einride AB, Minna Technologies, Annotell, Mimbly and Coala Life.
