Bread & Boxers migrates to Norce Commerce with Nordic Web Team, Frntkey and Junipeer

Stockholm, May 2026 — Bread & Boxers has completed its migration to Norce Commerce. Nordic Web Team acted as the lead e-commerce partner, Frntkey delivered the headless frontend, and Junipeer handled backend integrations. Storyblok serves as the CMS layer across the stack.

Bread & Boxers was founded in 2008 by Alexander Palmgren and Henrik Lindahl with a clear vision: high-quality basics — underwear and essentials — produced without logos and with a focus on sustainable materials. E-commerce has been central to the business since 2014 and today accounts for roughly half of total revenue.

As the e-commerce channel grew, so did the operational demands. The team needed to manage products, content, and multi-market operations more efficiently — creating, updating, and maintaining listings at a pace that required a more flexible platform foundation.

A four-company delivery

The project brought together Nordic Web Team, Frntkey, Junipeer, and Norce Commerce. Nordic Web Team led platform strategy, architecture planning, and the overall migration delivery — covering data migration, integration rewiring, and a phased go-live across markets.

Frntkey, a headless frontend-as-a-service product built and maintained by Nordic Web Team, provides the frontend layer. Decoupling the frontend from the commerce engine gives Bread & Boxers greater freedom to develop and adapt the customer experience independently of platform releases.

Junipeer handled backend integrations, connecting the new commerce stack to the wider system landscape. Storyblok manages content across markets without frontend dependencies.

What the migration delivers

The new setup gives Bread & Boxers a more maintainable and adaptable foundation for ecommerce. Product and content workflows are faster. The headless architecture makes it possible to develop and adjust the frontend without affecting the commerce engine. Bundled offers and more flexible product packages — previously difficult to implement — are now achievable on the new platform.
