Gunilla Berg joins board of Nordion Energi

The energy infrastructure company Nordion Energi welcomes Gunilla Berg as a new board member. Gunilla Berg has many years’ experience on the board of directors of companies such as Alfa Lavel, Atlas Copco, Vattenfall, and Afry. She has also served as CFO of companies including Post Nord Group, Teracom Boxer Group, SAS Group, and KF Group.

Nordion Energi specialises in energy infrastructure for gas and electricity. Development initiatives include infrastructure for hydrogen in large-scale projects such as the Nordic Hydrogen Route and Baltic Sea Hydrogen Collector, carbon capture (CCS/CCU) and biogas liquefaction (LBG).

Gunilla Berg brings extensive experience that will be invaluable in the development of the company’s strategic direction and continued growth. She will end of May join the boards of both Nordion Energi AB and Nordion Energi H2 AB, which specialises in hydrogen infrastructure.

"I’m very much looking forward to joining the board of Nordion at a time when the energy industry is undergoing a very interesting structural transformation. With my long and wide-ranging experience as CFO and board member of multiple companies, I want to contribute to Nordion’s continued development,” says Berg.

When Gunilla Berg takes up her position, Britta Dalunde, who has been a board member since Nordion Energi was founded in 2019, will leave her post.
