Norwegian Cruise Line appoints cruise brand specialist as new Managing Director Europe

Wiesbaden, June 30, 2015. Norwegian Cruise Line announced today that Christian Böll has been appointed as Managing Director for Europe and will lead the teams in the company’s newly opened Southampton office as well as its existing European office locations in Germany and Malta as of July 1, 2015. He will be based in Germany and report directly to Francis Riley, Senior Vice President International Sales & Operations.

Over the last couple of years, Christian Böll successfully managed different tourism brands and has initiated innovative branding concepts to better meet demand and the requirements of different target groups. Before joining international Steigenberger and Schörghuber hotel group (Arabella Sheraton), he played a major role in the launch and expansion of German cruise lines AIDA and Arosa. In his last role, he headed marketing and sales as managing director of German river cruise brand nicko cruises.
